The Bellflower gas station looting happened early Monday morning after a group of masked people broke into a convenience store during a large street takeover in Bellflower, California.
The incident took place at Atlas Fuel at around 2:30 a.m. A large group of vehicles had gathered around the gas station, with some cars spilling onto Artesia Boulevard. Nearby, other vehicles were seen spinning in circles while fireworks were being set off.

The owner of the gas station, who did not want to be identified for safety reasons, said he watched the incident on surveillance cameras.
According to the owner, the group appeared to be trying to damage the store as well as take property. He said the individuals also attempted to take the ATM.
The owner said everything happened within roughly 30 seconds to one minute before the group left the store.
The people involved eventually dispersed after police sirens could be heard approaching the area.
